Booty Booty

When you try on a pair of jeans, what is it that you look at? You wonder how your butt is going to look. I found myself doing that yesterday. It was our first date night since we had our little one six months ago. I mean this man has seen me in some very odd positions and in the morning with morning breath and hot mess hair. Yet, I can't help but want to look good for my man. Make him desire me they that he did when we first started seeing each other. Keep his eyes on me and no one else. Today, I felt that I needed to work on it.

Feel The Burn

Three days down, many more to go. I love the feeling I get after a workout. Today I was able to get in three workouts!! I can't help but look in the mirror and feel like I can see progress. I love it! I have started using the help of myfitnesspal.com and Jessica Smith TV. Today I burned 237 calories and at 930 calories. I started the morning off with a half hour walk. My goal is to run in at least one race this year. I hope that I get to participate in the Color Run.

For my afternoon workout I chose to do Jessica Smith's 11 minute Intensive Interval Workout. Oh my, that one whooped me. She sure knows how to get you moving.

TV Time

I have a very bad addiction. Television. I have shows most of the I have to watch. Once Upon A Time, Revenge, Supernatural, or Dance Moms. Normally, I would be sitting on the couch eating a snack watching my shows. Today, I did it differently. I worked out to each episode and to the commercials. I felt so much better about watching TV.

Day One

My goal isn't completely about losing weight. It is, but it isn't. My goal is to become healthier for me and my family. My son is about to turn six months old and is becoming more active and getting into everything. As he grows I can't help but think of the future. I want to be the one that chases him around the yard and plays catch with him. I know that if I don't get healthier I won't be able to do it.

Well, it's time to get started. :)


20 Minute Morning Workout

This includes push ups, sit ups, squats, lunges, jumping jacks, and wall sits. Mainly working your abdominal muscles you will also be working your back, legs, arms, and booty. A morning workout is a phenomenal way to get your day started. You will feel more awake and energized for the rest of your day. Don't forget to pair it with a healthy breakfast such as eggs, yogurt, fruits, and vegetables. Don't do biscuits and gravy like I did, I was a poor decision maker this morning.

2014 Pinterest Goals.

It has been a few months since I have been able to get on. Now that it is the new year I have a goal. Among all the categories that Pinterest has, I have kept a close eye on the health and fitness one. I still have the weight I gained during the pregnancy and I need to get rid of it. This year I will make my goal to lose the weight and get in shape by using Pinterest. Starting tomorrow I will post a starting picture and begin my journey to becoming a healthier person for myself and my family.
