Lunch Time Yums

Today was an interesting day to say the least. We were out and about getting somethings for dinner and we found an awesome deal at Krogers!! Buy One Get One FREE Roasts!!! We got a $16 roast and a $20 for only $20!!! Roast was dinner and it was an interesting one for sure. The lovely hubby of mine made and just "winged it". He threw some really random ingredients in there. All in all it was okay. Not the best that I have had, but not the worst. Unfortunately, that is not the reason I am here. I am here to tell you about my lunch. Pasta stuffed garlic toast. I made a few changes to mine. Mine was baked in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes flipping at 10. All I used was bread, pasta, pasta sauce, butter, garlic powder, and pepper. First, I preheated the oven at the 400 degrees. Secondly, I cooked and drained the noodles. Following that I mixed the noodles with the pasta sauce. Next, I buttered the bread as you would for a grilled cheese. I sprinkled the garlic powder and the pepper on each slice of toast on the buttered side. I placed half of the slices butter side down in a baking dish. I scooped the pasta on to the slices in the dish leaving room on the edges so that it didn't overflow. Finally, I put the other half of the bread slices butter side up on top of the other slices and baked in the oven for 10 minutes then flipping them over and baking for another 10 minutes.

It was a extremely enjoyable lunch and I can't wait to make it again. Enjoy your night y'all!

It's been a while.

I have been having a busy past few days. Between working, a baby that is having troubles, and a sleepy and sick husband I haven't found time for much else. I did make a wonderful pinterest dinner the other day. Lasagna Soup. It's made in a crock pot and man oh man was it delicious. The whole batch was gone the next day. My husband use it as a topping for his steak he had left over from two days before. I had mine with bread. It definitely went over very well in our household.

Another thing that I did was to make a cleaning calendar. It's hasn't been working out too well so far. :(

Hopefully now that everyone is better I can get back to doing my pinterest pins everyday.

Parm. Chicken Tenders

In my house we love chicken. Almost every other day we have it. Tonight, I went with a new recipe from pinterest. The only issue that I had with this recipe is  that it doesn't give you any measurements or times.

All you need for the recipe is chicken, bisquick, Parmesan,  garlic powder, paprika salt, and egg.

The first thing that you are going to do is preheat your oven to 450 degrees.

Next, mix together the Bisquick, Parmesan, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.

The next thing I did was cut my chicken into tenders.

I choose to use three eggs and mix them together.

You dip the chicken in the eggs then into the dry mixture and place on a greased pan.

Bake at 450 degrees until cooked completely. I flipped mine every 15 minutes.

It went over amazingly with my husband. I had mine with ranch and my hubby had his with BBQ sauce.
I can't wait to see what pinterest will give me to do tomorrow. <3

I could get lost in here.

I am sure that you have at least heard about pinterest before. I am a pinterest addict. I know, not the most pleasurable aspect of myself. I can spend hours on there and not even realize that I did. I have thousands on things pinned and I never do anything with them. That is what this blog is about. I am going to change that and everyday I am going to do at least one thing from pinterest that will better mine, my husbands, or sons life, do projects for fun, or to feed my family. Doing this will make sure that I am doing the point of pinterst and not just making an organized collection of nonsense. Tonight will start my journey with a dinner.

See you soon :)
